Poor puppy, she was just defending her territory. Somebody tell the snakes. No Snakes Allow.
This reminds me of the time there was a porcupine in her territory. I took her to the vet three separate times to get the quills pulled out of her mouth, nose and throat. Poor baby.
Yea, those eyes say . . . seriously your taking pictures of me now!

Note to all: Snakes are on the move right now, stinging scorpions too. Be watchful.

Poor puppy! and quills? OUCH!!!
Now that's a face to LOVE! Sweet thing! Has she had an encounter with a skunk yet, like my girls? That's the worst! Ugh!
Yes she did, twice. She is a mighty dog, never does anything just once. Or maybe just a slow learner?
beautiful baby... so sorry she was hurt! snakes and scorpians that's crazy - I thought we had it bad with black widows and alligator lizards.. funny - stay safe.

I am so sorry for your puppy...I hate snakes too. About the book I reviewed on my blog...You will love it. So go get it and read it. They have it at our Wal-Mart .....
