Oh how I love to working walks to Emmaus. I am working on the prayer team this time and I am creating a prayer calendar. So, this is what I have been doing for the past few weeks. It doesn't look like much but there are a lot of steps involved because I like to do things the hard way, that's why.
So, here we go; the concept
The pretties {some of them}

The fuel.
um, yummy, I think I get me one now.

Cuuute.
Kind of a bright shabby chic thing, I think.
Anyway, it is the prayer that counts in a thing like this. I have been so blessed to be pouring over scripture these past few weeks. If I had to say what the one common thing is, it would be Christ. I mean of course, but He is the common thread that has been woven though-out this thing. His sacrifice for us and God's grace towards us. He is the center of everything, who all things were created through and all things created for.

The LORD you God is with you, he is mighty to save.

These are awesome! I'm (not-so-patiently) waiting to hear if I'm accepted to this fall's walk here in our area. And wouldn't you know that the verse I keep on my desk and pray it for our future kids is Zeph 3:17. LOVE IT!!!
Of course above and beyond...amazing. Can't wait to get my grubby little hands on one!!!

OHHHHHH MY!!!!! That is the cutest prayer calender EVER!!!! Oh I just love it!!!! I keep prayer journals...cause I am getting to where I can't remember everything...AND I like to go back and look at how God has chosen to work in that prayer request...I am so inspired! I think I'm makin' a new journal today!! Hope it turns out half as cute as yours!!!

I love it, Jerri! I saw a little of the shabby chic idea at Dawn's, and this goes right along with it! Looks awesome! Also, if you need ANY help or just some company while you're working and praying, i would love to come over and help anytime! And we will have to have some coffee and some of those YUMMY mints you were eating!! LOL
