I've Been Very Very Crafty

It all started with this....

and this ....

plus this ....

and this.

layer number one.

layer number two.

same for the table.

lots and lots of texture.

Next on the candle sticks - base coat in brown,

then finished with a couple coats of white plus brown glaze and
wa-la, the finish product,

For the table, turquoise paint and van dyke brown glaze.

The table, which has no place in the house, looks fine on the back porch.

she's a little warped on top but I've been wanting to get my paint brush wet for a while now.  I have plans for this porch.  Hopefully I will be able to show you soon.  I have a table that my young friend Blaze is making a special top for and I will paint the bottom.  I hope it turns out in real life as good as it looks in my head.

Be Blessed, see ya.

That is so cool! I never would have thought to do that. That table is amazing!
Thanks for posting on my blog about my daughter's name display. :) I made a jewelry hanger too. Don't you just love how useful it is?

That's amazing! I especially love the candlesticks. Gonna have to try that myself!

If you get a hankering to refinish cabinet doors, come on over. That's next up for me.

Hey there! I have been reading and scrolling and reading some more, trying to catch up on you. Looks like you have been busy and I have missed so much. So sorry to hear about your husband. You guys seem very strong and I know you will pull through this together. I will be praying for your family. You can count on that.

Your furniture looks fabulous. I am always envious of your gorgeous home! I too have been ITCHING to paint something. Seems like it's been ages!

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I have been taking a Medical Transcription class for the past year and it has put me through the RINGER. I didn't realize that I sometimes forget to say what I am working on. Silly me!

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
